Privacy Policy

The Space runs coworking spaces and private offices in Riyadh and Jeddah. This policy explains what this website (the-space.me) collects, why, and the choices you have. It follows the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

Who we are

The Space is operated by Business Places Ltd. Co. (شركة أماكن الأعمال المحدودة), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For anything about your personal data, write to info@the-space.me.

What we collect

• Your visits. When you browse the site, Google Analytics records how it is used: the pages you open and for how long, your type of device and browser, the website that sent you, and your approximate location (city or country). It uses cookies to tell visits apart. It does not tell us who you are, and it does not store your IP address.
• What you send us. The site's forms (enquiry, contact and newsletter) collect what you type in them: your name, mobile number, email, company, the branch or space you are interested in and your message; the newsletter form only your email. It is stored on The Space website's server and emailed to The Space's team so they can answer you. We keep it as long as we need it to handle your enquiry (a newsletter sign-up until you unsubscribe), then delete it. If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email instead, we receive what you choose to send: usually your name, your number or email, and your message.
• Maps. Branch pages show Google Maps. When a map loads, Google may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
• Server logs. Like every website, our server keeps short-lived technical logs (such as the IP address and the page requested) to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and arrange a visit, an office or a membership.
• To send you our newsletter, if you signed up for it.
• To understand which pages help visitors, and to improve the site.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything else without asking you.

Who else handles it

• Google (Analytics and Maps) processes visit information for us, and Google's Gmail delivers the emails that bring your form submissions to our team. Google's servers may be outside Saudi Arabia.
• The website's server is in Germany (Frankfurt). What you send through the forms is stored there.
• WhatsApp carries the messages you send us on WhatsApp, under its own terms.
• Taginai, our digital agency, builds and runs this website and can see the same visit statistics.

How long we keep it

• Google Analytics keeps visit information for no longer than 14 months.
• We keep enquiries, including those sent through the forms, for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry, and newsletter sign-ups until you unsubscribe; then we delete them.
• Server logs are deleted after a short time.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• give you a copy of it;
• correct it;
• delete it when we no longer need it;
• stop using it where you gave your consent.

Write to info@the-space.me. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or turn off Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The site works without them.

Children

This site is meant for adults looking for a workspace. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
